Moreover, the telling of Mary’s story at this time brings a powerful message to humanity about the state of our ecology. Jesus, Mary, and Jesus’s sister Rachel all share something in common. They are spiritual beings keenly attuned to messages from nature. They hear and see the voices of the trees, bushes, and all of the natural world around them. They feel creation at a deep level. They teach that love includes nature, and that the human is not separate from that love. 

Finally, one of the more interesting aspects of the book is when Mary reveals that the author (Nancy Rhodes) was Rachel, the daughter of Mary in an earlier life. This amazing detail, disarmingly shared in the flow of the book, makes sense. It would explain why Mother Mary chose Nancy (formerly Rachel) to be her spokesperson, and why the book is so potent, vibrating with truth and love from start to finish.”
